From more comprehensive employee education on personal engagement to integrated technology for HRIS, Benefits Administration and Payroll; noting that for some clients we have provided complete outsourcing of these responsibilities to LCS. We see our role evolving to provide comprehensive human capital support and to that end will continue to expand our operations as needed.

Compliance

We follow a number of steps to assure your firm’s program follows all applicable compliance guidance and regulations. Maintaining overall program compliance, be it PPACA, ERISA, HIPAA or any of the other various legislative requirements.

The process starts with an annual meeting walking through our Compliance portal with each client documenting that we have complied with various regulations, or establishing open items with follow up responsibilities and calendaring a date for closure. We also calendar all applicable reporting and employee communication requirements. On an annual basis we assess if any of the plan documents must be updated and we work with our clients accordingly to have amendments drafted or new documents written. Note as part of this process we seek carrier input and interpretation, but we must recognize that many of the employer requirements are outside of the carrier responsibility or relationship.

Our Compliance team is always monitoring what is coming out of Washington and we send out communications on a bi-weekly basis, or immediately if time sensitive. Many find the podcast component of the bi-weekly communications to be highly informative. This information can be accessed at any time through the corporate portal we establish with you.

We assist all clients in compiling the necessary information for preparing and completing the form 5500 filing, as well as other necessary IRS filings such as form 720, for submission of PCOR fees.

Our clients value their employees, and demonstrate it with their actions.   We breakdown the silos that mean nothing to your employees, forming cross-functional teams, to best support your employees.  While program components are tailored to the culture and demographics of each organization, the primary goal is always centered on how best to assist each person leverage every facet of their benefits program for the individual’s total well-being: self, health and finances.
